Why women over 50 and why now?

As an award-wining photographer whose work has been been published in books, magazines, and most recently online by Vogue Italia, I am very aware of the images that represent ‘beauty’ in our culture.

As a member of the media I am cognizant of the fact that women over 50 have very little representation in our culture…

I want to change that.

I want women over 50 to be seen.

I would love for you to join me on this adventure as I photograph and celebrate women over the age of 50 in 2021.

Sessions include:

As an ‘OVER 50 & BEAUTIFUL’ woman, you will receive a beautiful package which includes:

1) Consultation over Zoom to discuss how you want to be photographed, if you want a glamour or a boudoir session (or perhaps glamour AND boudoir), what sorts of colours you are drawn to, how to prep for your photo shoot, etc.

2) Wardrobe styling session over Zoom to go over your outfits together before your photo shoot (the studio also has studio wardrobe available for glamour and boudoir sessions including gowns and lingerie).

3) Professional hair and makeup by one of the best hair and makeup artists in Vancouver on the day of the photo shoot (you will feel amazing!)

4) A fully guided professional 2-hour photo shoot that you will truly enjoy.

5) A reveal and ordering session where you see all your beautiful portraits and can select an 8x10 fine art portrait of your choice in an 11x14 mat and have the opportunity to purchase any other portraits that you love.

6) Your photos or a video along with your story will be published on social media to celebrate women over 50.

THE PROJECT WILL BE PROMOTED SO YOU’LL NEED TO BE HAPPY WITH…

• Being interviewed by me before and after the photoshoot about being a woman over 50. This may include video interviews.

• That interview may be shared on my website and social media.

• Before and After makeover photos to be shown.

• Other conditions may apply.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Individual portraits start at $375 + GST. People spend on average around $2000 + GST, but there is no minimum purchase required. For more information on pricing, please complete this contact form.

THE REVEAL

I will schedule a time for you to view your beautiful portraits in person about a week after your photo shoot. At this appointment, you will review only the best portraits from your session and decide which portrait (or portraits) you want to take home with you forever. How you’d like those portraits is up to you, whether that be a wall portrait or a beautiful portrait box with all of your photographs inside.
