Actor Headshots in Vancouver

Are you an actor seeking professional headshots that will stand out from the crowd? When you book your session we’ll ask what type of roles you go up for and what you tend to get cast as to ensure we play to your strengths during your actor headshot session. Then, during your photo shoot, you’ll be coached on expression to ensure that you’re connected to the camera which will in turn produce headshots that will set you apart from the competition.

What’s the difference between actor headshots and other types of headshots?

Actor headshots require a high degree of naturalism (much more so than other categories of headshots). If you have a scar or freckles or other unique little details like that, that you’ll be carrying with you into an audition room, it’s important those details remain present in your headshot. The background should be uncluttered and simple so that viewers (agents/casting directors) can focus entirely on you. And lastly, it’s critical that you are connected emotionally through the eyes in your headshot. There might be specific types of character roles that you tend to go up for, and in this situation, this will also inform the type of expression you will be coached on during your photo shoot.
